In Cape Coral, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Florida vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Honest Auto & Air Conditioning, LLC at (239) 294-7100; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 192 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in Cape Coral.

Cape Coral is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Cape Coral follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Finding a trustworthy auto shop is stressful, especially when you’re the daughter of a mechanic who lives thousands of miles away. I grew up knowing what honest, quality work looks like, so I was incredibly nervous about who I could trust with my car. From the moment I met Mike at Honest Auto, all of those worries disappeared. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything without ever making me feel pressured or taken advantage of. The service was exceptional, the pricing was beyond fair, and most importantly, I left knowing my car was in trustworthy hands. It’s rare to find an auto shop that truly lives up to its name, but Honest Auto absolutely does. Mike has earned my trust, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Honest Auto to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and high-quality service. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive one!

Honest Auto and Air Conditioning is the only place we trust with our family van and truck. Mike has taken great care of us for years, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Whether it’s routine maintenance or a sudden major issue, they always make room for us and handle everything quickly and professionally. It doesn’t matter if you’re a longtime customer or walking in for the first time—you’ll be treated with honesty and respect. They provide clear, truthful recommendations, exceptional work from skilled mechanics, and fair pricing that consistently beats other quotes. Our vehicles are essential to our daily lives, so trusting the right people matters—and that’s exactly why we keep coming back. If you’re looking for reliable, honest, and high-quality auto service, this is the place to go.

Michael was very detailed in what he was going to work on and if possible fix only what had to be done. No extra add on parts and cut my cost down by ONLY fixing what had to be fix. Great job Michael! Highly recommend this place.
